Our family friendly professionals follow extensive COVID-19 safety practices including:
- Adhering to all infection prevention control standards as set forth by our regulatory college and Alberta Health Services
- Sterilizing all dental instruments such as hand pieces, and intra oral equipment after every patient
- Disinfecting treatment room and reception after every patient, making sure to replace coverings in high-contact areas and surfaces
- Using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as masks, surgical gloves, gowns, bonnets and face shields as mandated by our college.
- Frequent washing / sanitizing our hands, before, during and after seeing each patient.
- Ensuring single use items are disposed of properly
- Cleaning the clinic with medical-grade disinfectant numerous times throughout the day as well as after closing.
- Sanitizing all public spaces and all touchable surfaces, to include, chairs, light switches, door knobs, and public bathrooms. Increasing frequency between patients and limiting the number of patients in waiting room.
- Conducting a strict pre-screening policy within 24 hours prior to appointment, instructing all patients and staff to remain at home if symptomatic
- Conducting a strict screening policy when you present for your dental visit; to include taking patient and staff temperatures, prior to entering the treatment rooms as well as asking a series of questions about your health. If you have a fever over 38 degrees, we will postpone your treatment.
We thank you for your patience, understanding and support, as we remain open and navigate our new normal. We know the protocols that require patient cooperation may be inconvenient; however, they are in place for your safety and ours. We appreciate your support and understanding. We look forward to seeing you soon.
